An important function of the College IQAC is to develop pragmatic and attainable quality benchmarks for both academic and administrative activities and make quality enhancement an integral part of institutional functioning.

The College IQAC since its re-constitution has constantly endeavoured to maintain the momentum of quality consciousness as envisaged by the NAAC. It conducts meetings with the Principal on a day-to-day basis and also in special circumstances while drawing up and/or appraising the plans and programmes of quality enhancement. The IQAC also interacts with the entire staff in course of workshops organized in the college. This helps all participants, teaching and non-teaching alike to get acquainted with the nuances of IQAC functioning and the NAAC agenda of total quality.

On 13th May 2014, an "IQAC Workshop" was conducted in the college and attended by the teaching staff. The workshop was presided over by Dr. Maitrayee Bardhan, Member, IQAC, GMGC.

On 24th July 2015, a second workshop was organized which involved the entire staff of the college. It was chaired by the Principal and conducted by the IQAC co-ordinator.
