College Campus : A Plastic Free Zone

NSS Unit-I of Gokhale Memorial Girls' College has taken an active initiative to make the College Campus a Plastic Free Zone. As a part of this program the NSS student- volunteers have prepared tote bags fully made of cotton and painted them. Today 5th September, Teacher's Day, NSS students will distribute their handwork to all the faculty members of the college. All teaching and non-teaching staff of the college are requested not to bring any plastic bag in the college campus from this date onwards and dispose plastic bottles, if any, in designated bins.
