University of Calcutta SEM 1 (NEP) 2026 Registration Notice

It is informed to you that, all Semester 1 students admitted in 2026 under the NEP (National Education Policy) scheme University of Calcutta, about the mandatory registration process September 21, 2026, to Sepetember 30, 2026.

Action Required

1.      Complete Registration Form: All students must fill up the University of Calcutta registration form through college website by clicking CU Registration in College portal. ABC ID: Ensure you provide a valid ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID).

2.      Subject Selection: Students must choose their IDC (Interdisciplinary Course) and AECC (Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course) subjects carefully.

Submission Details

·         Documents to Submit: Hard copy of the Registration Form and the Payment Challan, HS Marksheet, Class X Admit card, Cast Certificate, CU Registration Certificate (Already Registrar Students),  Original Migration Certificate (Except  WBCHSE / WBBME / CISCE / CBSE / NIOS / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya) if applicable.

·         Last date of submission: September 30 & November 1, 2026.

NB: - Students who fail to submit their forms within the stipulated time frame will not have their registration processed, and no emails regarding this matter will be entertained.

DigiLocker / Internet copies of documents will NOT be accepted for the registration process.

students who has already registered under the University of Calcutta in the previous year through other college and admitted this year in Gokhale Memorial Girls’ college are directed to meet the college office from 21.09.2026 to 23.09.2026 between 11:00 am to 2:30pm for their UG Council Permission'.
