Student entries are invited for Miscellany 2026 in the following categories:

1)     Creative writing Prose and Poetry (up to 1,000 words)

2)     Travel Diaries (500 words accompanied with photographs)

3)     Survey report on Heritage Institutions up to 1,000 words

4)     Changing cultural trends food, fashion, lifestyle, music, education, cinema etc (500 words).

5)     Interviews of alumni and women achievers (750 words)

6)     Non fictional writing (up to 1,000 words)

7)      Report on Current Affairs (upto 1000 words)

8)      Campus Chronicles (1000 words)

9)     Music, Movie, Book and Web Series Reviews (500-750 words)

10)  Photographs and Drawing/Paintings (Size: Above 150 KB)

11)  GPS Survey for the immediate environs of the College

12)  Outlook on What Is Driving Heatwaves in India

All entries should follow the Times New Roman font style, with font size 12, single spacing. The Last date of submission is 15/11/2026. Entries should be emailed to miscellany.gmgc@gmail.com. Entries in Bengali and Hindi should be submitted as scanned copies to the above e-mail id. All entries are to be additionally submitted in hard copy to designated student representatives.  Photograph/Drawings/Paintings are to be submitted in soft copy only (Ref. Sl. 10).

All departments are requested to send 4 representatives, 1 each from semesters I, III V & VII on Wednesday 30.09.2026 at 1 pm to meet the teacher co-ordinators of the magazine committee in the NSOU Room on the 2^nd Floor. The student representatives will be selected after the meeting.
