Scholarship committee of GMGC organized the Scholarship Awareness Camp as a part of the celebration of Students’ Week activities from 3rd January to 7th January, 2023. Thirty-two students and two teachers participated in this programme. Dr. Md. Iqbal Sultan and Dr. Sariful Islam, members of Scholarship Committee focused on State Govt. sponsored different scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum Means scholarship, West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund scholarship, Aikyashree (Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum Means scholarship for minorities and Post Matric Scholarship) and Post Matric scholarship for SC/ST and OBC students. The speakers elaborately discussed the eligibility criteria and application procedures and several students also submitted the hardcopies of their application forms of SVMCM. During the interactive session the participants put forward their questions to the speakers and their queries were resolved satisfactorily.
A Student Credit Card Awareness Camp was also held parallelly.
The program started at 1 pm with 31 students. Dr. Anangamohan
Panja, Nodal Officer, discussed the benefits of the said Scheme
together with the eligibility criteria. He also discussed the
application procedure, documents required for the application
etc. Future perspectives of the scheme were discussed during the
interactive session and Dr. Panja encouraged the students to
avail of the benefits of the scheme.
