Remembering our founders, Smt Sarala Ray and Dr Rani Ghosh, who
believed not only in the dissemination of knowledge but also in
creating generations of women with futuristic goals, inclination to
cultivate their creativity and intellectual potential, we celebrate
the foundation day of Gokhale Memorial Girls' College on December 18
every year. It also marks the Reunion Day for our ex-students.
On this day every year, the inaugural programme and the Prize
Distribution ceremony are followed by a cultural programme
comprising the performances of our students.
